We enjoyed the peace and beauty The Cedars offered us. It was our first stay in a bed and breakfast. Our plans were to check-in, dump the luggage, and hit the boardwalk in Ocean City. But Doug and Sherry were so pleasant and the home and grounds were so peaceful we didn't leave the B&B our first day...lol. The breakfast was outstanding! (I'll never forget the Talapia omelet...mmmmm). The Cedars is truly witin walking distance of some great experiences. Our first stay but plans have been made for another.

Our daughter arranged our B&B over the phone, and we left Baltimore to find it. What a treat! The entire experience was such a stimulating one, to look back and wish the walls and streets could talk in this town. We appreciated the efforts of those who are restoring those handsome houses so that they keep alive that part of history. It was pleasant; everything was beautiful. We would surely return. Sherry and Doug's warmth made the visit a delight.

My husband and I had such a lovely stay here. The accommodations were wonderful and we felt so at home. The owners, Sherry and Doug are so very friendly and hospitable and the breakfasts were amazing. They go out of their way to please. We enjoyed having wine out on the upstairs porch overlooking the quiet of the beautiful yard before heading off to dinner. Charming;the owners, the Cedars and the town. We look forward to returning.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a relaxing place to stay not far from Ocean City when we came across the Cedars. The website does not do it justice. It was a wonderful experience. The area is a must for anyone looking to relax and get away from it all. We very much enjoyed relaxing on the front deck, the beautiful scenery and our wonderful hosts Sherry and Doug. There are a few restaurants in town and the locals are very friendly and I recommend taking a canoe trip down the Pokomoke River; all within walking distance. Sherry and Doug, we can't thank you enough for the experiences of staying at your bnb. We went home very refreshed and tan :)

Amazing breakfast, custom designed for both our mornings there (and for Carrie's meatless diet). Filling & Healthy!
We were snowed in, the restsurants were closed and they made us dinner (and made it very romantic, too.)
Long story short, Doug & Sherry are so considerate and mindful of what makes for a great visit--a good complement to the lovely small town itself.

My husband Dustin and I's trip to the Cedars was our first b&b experience. It was wonderful! So much better than staying at a hotel and not much more expensive either. It was decorated beautifully, great ambiance in every room. Our bedroom of choice was the china room (gotta love the jacuzzi tub XD). The breakfast is AMAZING, and super filling (you won't even need lunch). Doug and Sherry themselves were great, very friendly and fun to talk to. Dustin and I both agreed that we liked it so much we're thinking of going back again sometime! So thanks again for the awesome experience Doug and Sherry, and sorry it's taken us so long to post this!

I was so pleased to be able to be the first wedding at Doug & Sherry's B&B. It was a very beautiful and peaceful event. For the ceremony I walked down thier beautiful front stairs, off the flowing front porch and around to the alter which was shaded by a massive oak tree. It was, by far the most elegant event I could have ever imagined. I was very pleased that my special day WAS so very special! I owe that to Doug & Sherry!!Thank You again!

We have been traveling to the Eastern Shore in August every year since 2001 and have stayed at a different B&B each year. In 2009, we stayed at The Cedars for 3 nights. The Cedars B&B quickly jumped to the top of our list. Doug and Sherry's warm hospitality,the awesome breakfasts and beautiful room made our stay here fabulous. A warm thank you to Doug and Sherry for being such delightful hosts.

This trip was a surprise for my boyfriend Bobby's birthday. We rode the motorcycle up the Eastern shore from Gloucester, VA. We only stayed for one night, in the China Room, but now wish we would have stayed for a week! It was very peaceful and relaxing. We set the record for sleeping in the latest and had "brunch" instead of breakfast : ( Sorry Doug and Sherry! They were so nice and accommodating. The breakfast the next morning was heavenly!!! Everything was fresh and homemade from the garden and kitchen! Our room had a jacuzzi and definitely was an added bonus to our stay. It was nice chatting with them about the history of the house and some of the stories of the remodeling process. We are looking forward to going back again!!!! Thanks again Doug and Sherry!! You have a beautiful place!
