On the 4th of July we were helping sell fried chicken at the Rotary’s table in the park and the lady’s owner was there. She said she knew we loved the statue and would make a deal we could not refuse.
The next week we drove a fork lift through the double doors, stood the lady on the forks and she paraded through Snow Hill and down the two blocks to our home.
She often lures people into our yard with their cameras. We happily greet them and offer them a tour.
